Catharine “Cassie” Grainge began her work with Housh Law Offices while pursuing a bachelors degree in Philosophy at the University at Buffalo. During this time, she gained a mentor in Frank and also consequently became a death penalty abolitionist. She has since graduated and is now in her third and final year of law school at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. While in law school, Cassie has interned for HIAS Pennsylvania, an immigration legal non profit organization, the Defender Association of Philadelphia, the Juvenile Law Center, and most recently, the Los Angeles County Office of the Public Defender. She is dedicated to finding justice for the poor and marginalized members of our society. In her free time she enjoys serving the refugees in her church and neighborhood, playing the violin, and spending time with her nine siblings. She is happy to be part of the important work that is being done by the Housh Law Offices.
